RS Mizar Diamond Detective Electronic Diamond Tester

Features include:
• Metal alert (a long beep when user accidentally touches metal rather than stone).
• Large/small switch for testing diamonds over and under 8 points.
• Diamond indicator (a green light), which illuminates if the stone is a Diamond.
• 7 second warm-up time with a 150 second shut-off alarm.
• If stone is a simulant such as Cubic Zirconium (CZ), nothing happens (except with synthetic moissanite).

RS Mizar Moissanite Terminator Moissanite Tester MT2

Ease of use makes the Moissanite Terminator II the most popular moissanite tester.  No power pack or spring clips are needed.  It works using only a 9-Volt battery. The Moissanite Terminator II has dual test voltages to insure 100% accuracy.

Until recently, diamond simulants could be distinguished from genuine Diamonds using a thermal tester like the Mizar Diamond Detective. However, the recent introduction of Synthetic Moissanite has necessitated a second test to make sure that what first tests as positive for a Diamond is not in fact a moissanite. The Moissanite Terminator II is designed to perform this test.
This tester should be used in addition to the traditional Diamond Tester or only to test for Moissanite if required.  This tester is not designed to tell the difference between Diamond and simulants other than Moissanite.
