Gemstone Gauges

Gem Gauges are used to perform precise measurements of gemstones - either to estimate mounted stone carat weight or to check stone cut quality.  This is necessary for appraisal and documentation purposes, or even to check ring size. Gem Gauges can be used on mounted or loose stones, in your lab, in the workshop or just about anywhere else. Some Gem Gauges require the use of tables where you can figure out the carat weight of the stone based on your measurements, and the more advanced Computerized Gem Gauges are capable of calculating carat weight by themselves.
