However, the recent introduction of synthetic Moissanite has necessitated a second test to make sure that what first tests as diamond is not in fact moissanite. The Moissanite Terminator II is designed to perform this test.

This tester should be used IN ADDITION to the traditional diamond tester or only test for moissanite is required.
This tester is not designed to tell difference between diamond and simulants other than moissanite.
